Im going vacationing in scottsdale . My plane will land into the Phoenix airport . I will not be renting a car , nor do I want to take a cab . How else can I get from phoenix to scottsdale ?

Hi, new guy here. I have a question about the Chaparral boats for Sea Purposes?
Chaparral makes a good boat for the "Pleasure" segment of boating. It'll be fine in the ocean. It won't be crossing any ocean, but can handle some tough water. The engines are very reliable. Comfort is good. I don't know what islands you're talking about, but something like the Caribbeans from Florida, then yes, it'll make the journey. I venture offshore in my 26' Express Cruiser 38 miles out in the Pacific Ocean, just not in terrible weather. Hope your brother has experience with boats and "Seamanship", because it's not like driving a car. Ocean conditions change quickly and if not experienced with rough water, can end up being a bad outcome. I love being out on my boats and the ocean.

I just graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute-Phoenix campus, however will not be returning to my native state until the autumn months. I knew it was a long shot, but I tried every dealership in the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe/Glendale/Mesa area, and NONE are hiring, especially MMI graduates. The main reason: AZ is saturated with MMI graduates and there's isn't enough dealerships to accommodate all of those who decide to settle down here permanently or temporarily. My worry is this: when I return home, would the dealerships hold it against me for being out of school too long with zero industry experience or it wouldn't matter? It's not my fault AZ is flooded with MMI grads! Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

My scottsdale 4 wheel drive when i put it in 4 high or low it won't stay in.?
what is wrong with it ? i'll put it in 4 high and it will just keep slipping out back into 2 wheel drive. when i put it into 4 low it will pop out into neutral. it's a 1984 chevy scottsdale. it's not a complicated system i know but i am just learning about it. i put in a new engine and had the tranny rebuilt. i had a guy that works on 4 wheel drives look at my transfere case and he said someone had been in it because the chain was tight. but i think he should have rebuilt it anyway cause of it slipping out of gear like it is. is it an easy fix i can learn to do myself ?

hahah, nothing. You could go to the movies or the mall, but you can do that anywhere really. Although Fashion Square is lovely mall to hang out at. You could to to Big Surf or Cracker Jacks. Swimming I suppose, but you could also do that anywhere. There are some nice hiking trails if you're into that, and a really nice botanical garden (although not many teenagers like going there). There are a few skate parks around. Really, there's not that much to do.

What type pf carburetor and fuel pump should I use?
I have an early 70's Chaparral G44B engine. It is used on a small airboat. I get a great amount of performance out of it. I would like to try a different carb fuel pump set up on it. I am looking for something similar to what is used on a Cuyuna. It does not rely on the base pressure built up at the PTO seal like the Chaparral. Has anyone ever done this and had any success with it? Not a big deal but it would be fun to try something different for a little more performance, and improve throttle response.

Okay I have a friend who's grandmother used to be famous. Her name is Linda Lee. I think she is dead now. But the way I took it she didn't make it to far. But she had some records. Annoying Roommate! Help!?
Okay so I live in a dorm, its basically a suite with 3 other girls. 4, including me. One of my suitemates is extremely annoying. Never have I ever met anyone who talked so much in my life and someone so over dramatic. I knew her freshman year and she would literally through tantrums on the floor of my dorm screaming like a mad woman at the crack of dawn whenever her bf and her would get into a fight. So with that said, I wasn't too happy when I found out I would be living with her this year. Not much has changed, she is extremely loud and will talk your head off whenever she sees you. I guess I wouldn't mind so much but everything she says is about other people that I dont know, she just gossips for the heck of it. I try to keep it short and sweet with her and sometimes I dont say anything to give her signs that I dont care. But it always fails, she will still keep talking. It's bothering my other suitemates as well that now they wont speak to her when they see her outside of our suite. She came to me today and asked if there was a problem with one of them because apparently she didnt speak to her when she saw her last night. I dont know how to politely say its because you're annoying. I hinted at it a little bit and said sometimes people just dont always feel like talking and she still didnt get it and was like "well that's not a reason to be rude." I just need some advice on how to politely tell her that she is annoying everyone in the house because she doesn't seem to get it even with the signs we are are giving. Any advice?

What do i do if my parents won't support me?
I really want to be an actress when i grow up. I am supposed to be going to Chaparral High School next year and i've already signed up for the theatre program there. This is long but i'm REALLY UPSET like CRYING so please i beg of you to help me!?
My boyfriend and I went on a vacation valentine’s day until today. I just recently got home. I am a very fun person who likes to have a GOOD TIME! I love water parks and my boyfriend decided since its winter to bring me to an indoor one. Well we got a suite at this place about 4 hours away. We ended up bringing my boyfriend, his brother, his brother’s friend, his younger brother, his younger brother’s friend and his younger sister. I didn’t have a problem with it considering we had our own “room” within the suite. Any who…we got there and all of a sudden these two other guys showed up. They were best friends with my boyfriend and lived in Ohio where my boyfriend used to live. When we first planned this trip 6 months ago it was supposed to be JUST US! Well we went to the water park and at first he was all about me. I enjoyed myself. He rode the tubes with me went on the slides with me was all cuddly and just perfect… then all of a sudden he made me ride some of the water rides by myself which I didn’t mind...much and was playing basketball for like 3 hours. I kept asking him if we could do something else and he told me that his friends wanted to play basketball. After that we went to this disgusting place to eat. I hate chicken but because his “friends” from Ohio wanted to have chicken it was where we went. I asked if the rest of them could go and him and I could have a nice romantic dinner instead just the two of us. He insisted we go get “bbq chicken from some bar.” I had a few drinks shot some pool and ate I’d say about 3 pieces of chicken AT THAT and to top it off I had to PAY FOR MY BEER! HE AND I ended up sleeping on the FLOOR because there weren’t enough beds. I was SO UPSET!! AND aside from that he took the sleeping bad and made me take a blanket from one of the beds and use it as a sleeping bag. I was FREEZING the whole night! AND REALLY UPSET THAT he let his friends stay with us CONSIDERING they lived only a half an hour away. Well the next day we were going to go to the water park but my boyfriend refused. We got there and he left me there by myself! I ended up having to ride water rides with a 16 year old mind you I’m 23!!! I called him NUMEROUS times to see where he was and he told me his was with the guys in the weight room. I went there and told him we needed to talk ALONE! Well we walked around for a little bit grabbed some pizza and then that was that. He THEN admitted to me that his MOTHER was paying for this vacation and it really wasn’t HIM who was paying for me it was a gift from his MOTHER because he got into Med. School! I was shocked and a little insulted. He then told me that he was sorry and hoped I wouldn’t get upset but he hadn’t gotten me anything for valentines day…”This was supposed to be the “gift” for me” but apparently he didn’t get anything for me. Later that night I saw him texting this girl. He was constantly texting her and I asked him who she was. He told me she was just a friend he met about a week ago through another friend. I found his phone and read his messages it seemed like harmless talking. I asked him if he had feelings for her and he said “yes” but it’s nothing more then feelings. I couldn’t understand what that meant and throughout the car ride home today I wouldn’t speak to him. We were supposed to see each other tonight but INSTEAD he made plans with this guy he’s friends with and hasn’t talked to me since and this was about 3 hours ago! Tomorrow he is having a poker game and asked me if I could “stay home” because it’s just for the guys. Would you dump someone if they treated you this way? WHAT SHOULD I DO?? I’M SO UPSET!!! I don’t know what to think! This was supposed to be romantic and great vacation….what should I do??

It is your choice. You just need to go visit both campuses, review the expences, and long term outcome. The first choice sounds really good to me. But, it probably won't work for you and your boyfriend if you go to a different school. Make a list of what you want in a college. Grade each thing you want 1 to 10 for both the colleges. Hello, I have a few questions to which I would greatly appreciate if they were answered. The first being, what brand of bass clarinet reeds do you find suites you best and has the best quality over all? I play on a vandoren 3 1/2 reed when I play. I have also played on rico, and rico grand concert finding the quality of the reeds poor I stuck with vandoren. I also shave my reeds and rub the backs with paper. What method do you find most helpful when dealing with reeds? Also, what reed case do you find most helpful and convenient? I use a hodge reed case that hold five bass clarinet reeds, it works well, but I was wondering if there was anything better. Also, if I was to use a reed case with an adjustable Humidifier, what amount of humidity would be best for my reeds? Lastly, what mouthpiece do you find works best for you? I have a vandoren B45 and I am trying to figure out what one I want to get next. I am thinking about the vandoren B50, but I am not too sure yet. i doubt if you are getting that much water from around the bow eye. they are usually caulked when installed and the wooden pad behind the hull usually will act as a seal as well. more likely places would be- any missing cover snaps of sides of hull, leakage from engine cooling system, engine bellows where lower unit enters the hull, bad seal bellows where cables leave the hull, any through hull penetrations such as depth finder , water intake for wash down pump, cooling intakes, or cockpit drains. also consider a bad joint between the hull and deck seam, any mounting bolts for lower unit or outboard. its also possible that its just splash water since its only a couple of gallons. i have a wellcraft that developed a leak that kept getting bigger. turned out to be the self bailing drain that exited the hull right at the waterline. the thruhull fitting cracked. keep a eye on it and if its stable its probability nothing more that splash water.

Transmission "bangs" in my 1988 chevy 1500 pickup?
I have a 1988 Chevy 1500 scottsdale pick up truck. When shifting from park to drive, park to reverse, drive to reverse, and reverse to drive, it makes a loud bang noise, and you can feel it. Once in a while it will hesitate to shift from 1st to 2nd gear. (automatic transmission) However, it has never once slipped. Is it a bad transmission? Yamaha YPG-235 and Mac?
I want to buy a Yamaha YPG-235. I have a Mac computer and I have heard that there may be some problems with Yamaha keyboards and Macs. I want to be able to take a midi file on my computer and transfer it to the keyboard so it will play it back and I can learn it. I hear that the Musicsoft Downloader is the only way to transfer the files back and forth, but it's for Windows only. So, is it even possible for a Yamaha keyboard to teach me how to play a midi file through the Education Suite that they have on the keyboard? And is there any other program that can transfer midis to the keyboard? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What is size boat prop can I install for heavy loads?
I have a 1989 Chaparral 187XL with a stock prop that is 13.75 x 21. The prop is very beat up and I want to replace it when I winterize it. I was wondering what size prop I could go with that would help get me planed out with a heavy load? Or, would replacing the stock prop with the same size give me that extra little bit of power I need? There is not a crisp edge on any of the blades, thanks!
