Where can I get the list of international residential codes along with local codes?

I am looking to turn my basement into an in-law suite and wanted to do everything up to our local codes. I know that I don't have to, because I can do whatever I want in my own property. I still want to do it right, and add a bathroom and a kitchen up to code so I could rent it out. Thank you!
