Motorcycle mechanics institute?

I just graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute-Phoenix campus, however will not be returning to my native state until the autumn months. I knew it was a long shot, but I tried every dealership in the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe/Glendale/Mesa area, and NONE are hiring, especially MMI graduates. The main reason: AZ is saturated with MMI graduates and there's isn't enough dealerships to accommodate all of those who decide to settle down here permanently or temporarily. My worry is this: when I return home, would the dealerships hold it against me for being out of school too long with zero industry experience or it wouldn't matter? It's not my fault AZ is flooded with MMI grads! Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!
